Made thanks to Kazue Nakagami's book translated into French. See the picture below. Maybe it was also translated into English. What I liked, I do not often sew clothes, is that you assemble squares and rectangles and nothing else. For some of the projects in the book, if other shapes are needed, you get them full-sized at the end.
It was rather easy to follow even if I made a mistake I have still not understood. Any help would be much appreciated.
One tip that helped me a lot : pin a piece of paper with the corresponding letter to the piece of fabric (A, A', B, B'... is rather confusing when you have to sew all the pieces together). I do not know if it is quite clear. At rereading it, I wonder. So, do not hesitate if you have any question about it.
I added one centimeter to all the dimensions given as it was not included.
So, now, my mistake. Up to point 5 it is fine. But, at point 6, you assemble pieces C, A and B together. I realized that C was too short or B not long enough so that C did not cover as it should have done A and half of B. I checked it again and I do have the right dimensions. So, it remains mysterious for me.
Light grey fabric from Yozocraft but I bought it ages ago, black thin cotton fabric from my stock, black hemstitched cotton from Ma Petite Mercerie.
